Holland, May 14, 2024 – Today, Brendan Muir, Project Management consultant and Chair of Ottawa County Republicans, is launching his campaign to represent the citizens of Michigan District 4 in the House of Representatives. He is the first Republican challenger in 12 years, a bold move that signals to the career politicians in Washington DC that they are woefully blind to the hardships faced by everyday Americans.
After making the decision to run on March 30, 2024, Brendan enlisted over 85 petition gatherers and easily obtained over 1,800 signatures in under 14 days. The 4th District has shown they’re highly motivated for honest representation.
A lifelong Michigander who grew up in Plymouth Township, Brendan earned an engineering degree from Michigan State University. He spent 8 years working at a $40B, Tier 1 automotive supplier where his role required that he engage with executive management, travel worldwide and work across multiple continents and cultures. Brendan demonstrated success by leveraging critical thinking, leadership and communication skills to deliver exceptional results.
Today, he is a consultant for multiple national manufacturing businesses and is committed to bringing his global work experience and problem-solving skills to Washington. Brendan will represent Michigan’s 4th District guided by his integrity, courage, competency, and faith.
